It's episode 200! Two hundred days of morning writing, recording and posting online without one gap shows me that there’s really something to this 'taking one day at a time'. Persistence and consistency will break down any damn, the walls we build, the fears we have, and can become the core of 'who I am'. In daily silence we find who we are then choose how to be us more, then just do today true to yourself and tomorrow’s best unfolds.

The proof is in the pudding, the menu is not the meal, it’s in the doing of this morning routine that you’ll change the way you feel. Just as the ‘to do’ list is not the getting done, just listening to this will not help the new you become! Morning 'practice' means just that, life getting better over time, and it’s when I began sitting in silence that I altered the course of mine.

We are the sum of our day to day, the drip drip details of our lives, if we nourish and tend the little things, the giant in us thrives. Waking to a new day is the best time to start this plan, this attention to your detail, the 'How I act is who I am!'. The snooze button sends you backwards into sleep cycles that have stopped, and that’s why when you do get up, you feel like you could drop. And often even before we rise we're reaching for our phone, checking emails, facebook and twitter and then all our peace has gone.

Lift your head above your life and look down at the path you’re forming, guide yourself from up above, in the stillness of the morning. Turn off your stressed out autopilot, stand still upon the bridge, you are the master of your life, the captain of your ship. Set you intentions, be clear and lead so you decide your course. Ask where do I want to get to and does what I’m doing take me closer?

Our minds are the engines of our lives and our mornings are the fuel. If you fill your engine with what’s right for you, you’ll ignite all that your life can do. The first thirty minutes at the dawn of your day will define your direction in life. Give yourself the gift of half an hour’s 'me' time, a morning routine, right at the top of your day; you giving you the time to unfold, to hear you and all that you say.

A morning routine doesn’t take time, it makes time. In the stillness of breathing you can hear your true voice, and with focused intention you’ve begun with a choice. Inner peace in the morning clears the mind for your vision, then courage evolves for your personal mission. If you begin each new day with a morning routine, your life will expand towards who you should be.

Don’t let routine be something that happens to you but change it to something you do. This change from a reactive to a proactive mindset is the key to your best sense of you! The proactive force of seizing your day with a peaceful awakened routine will banish resistance, the "Oh damn, not this!", and turn dread into opportunity. The resistance to change is often the problem and not the change itself, so if we change how we see things first, we find that all will be well.

Confidence is trust you've earned in yourself to handle situations and get things done. Make one commitment to yourself today then keep it, and not a lot of things, just one. Commit today to doing one thing that will set your course on the change you desire, you are the master of your ship, your life on the upward spiral.

You have the profoundly human freedom of personal responsibility, 'response ability', your ability to respond. It’s not what life throws at us but how we then react that carves our lives in our character and the life we build from that. A breath, a thought, a conscious choice of how you will respond, and in that pocket of your future unfolding you’ve changed, seized freedom and grown.

The thing you fear the most is what you need to do. You could fear a million things or none but that fear you have is real for you. Your worst fears swarm you in clouds of feelings that halt you in your path, but define them, think them through to the end, and you cut your fears in half. Do one thing today that you’ve been putting off too long; it’s fear, it’s an illusion, it’s magnified, it’s wrong!
