This so called 'stress hormone' is handy if enduring a tiger attack, it tells every single cell to focus on the tension required to get back. But we're not and this state of high alert puts heavy pressure on our system, our bodies and minds send us signs but, trapped in stress, we often miss them. Then the damage really starts, cortisol takes it’s toll, so finding stillness as anti-stress is for body, not just soul.
